Professional Learning That Doesn't End When The Training Does
Too often, educators leave professional development inspired but unsure what to do next.
At The SPEDucated Leader, we bridge the gap between learning and implementation through engaging professional development, coaching, classroom observations, leadership support, and ongoing resources that help teams put new strategies into practice. Whether you're looking for a single keynote or a year-long partnership, we'll build a plan that fits your goals.
Full-Day Professional Development
Our most requested professional learning experience.
Designed for teams ready to go beyond the basics, our full-day sessions provide the time and space to learn, collaborate, and create actionable next steps that support meaningful change.
Trauma Sensitive Education and De-Escalation
Participants gain understanding of student behavior from a trauma lens, and learn how to address misbehavior by recognizing the stages of escalation and learning concrete de-escalation strategies.
Understanding Disabilities and its Effect on Behavior
Learn how disabilities manifest, or look and sound, in the classroom. Staff will learn how to meet students where they are, to manage behavior. This session dives specifically into ADHD, Autism, and ODD.
Cracking the Code to Decrease Misbehavior
Participants learn about the four functions of behavior (access, sensory, escape, and tangible) to identify replacement behaviors that allow students to be more successful throughout the day.
